A large facilities services company needed a way to track work performed (aka work orders) for hundreds of their clients. The application needed to provide users a way to enter these work orders and move them through the business process from setup and scheduling to billing and invoicing. In addition, the work order system needed to pull data from a timecard system that tracks employees’ hours by work order.
After the client hired Stikine Software for this project, we worked closely with the client’s personnel to gain a thorough understanding of their business processes. Stikine Software developed a custom database and software application to meet the business requirements. We also worked closely with the developer of the timecard software to create the integration piece that would import work order hours used for billing. Stikine Software performed all the database and application development, and continues to enhance and maintain the system.
